Quick Highlights Cosmos Interchain

• Ripple and Evmos have joined forces to build an XRP Ledger EVM sidechain! The sidechain will be built with evmOS - a production-ready modular solution that leverages Cosmos SDK, IBC, and CometBFT to bring EVM compatibility to Web3 businesses.

• Union’s zk-IBC bridge will be used to transport NFTs for the first time between Ethereum and IBC. Union, the Modular Interoperability Layer, is partnering with the zero-gas NFT app chain Stargaze to enable the transfer of blue-chip Ethereum NFTs to Cosmos via its trustless, decentralized zkIBC bridge.

• Building Trustless Data Solutions With the Interchain Stack. KYVE and Synternet Venturing Into the Interchain to empower developers to create custom blockchain networks essential for applications like Synternet, which demand specific governance and scalability.

• Total bridged volume to Sei through Wormhole has surpassed $20 million, with 9,000 unique users. The majority of assets bridged come from Solana and Ethereum

• Over 1.2 million OSMO were burned after today's v25 upgrade. • The Akash Chat API beta is live at completely zero cost, with all funding provided by Ovrclk. After the beta is complete, the API will become open and permissionless for anyone to access.

• The Sei Foundation offers a three-month stipend to help builders develop a functional Minimum Viable Product on Sei. If you're interested, DM Head of BD Justin Barlow to introduce yourself or tag potential applicants. You can be awarded $25k for successful referrals who complete the program and go on to raise external funding.

• Participate in the Archway Hunt-A-Thon from April 29th to June 20th and build on a Cosmos-native blockchain that values developer contributions. In the last week, Osmosis Zone handled $26.6 million across 175K transactions, topping the list in IBC value transfers. It was followed by Cosmos Hub and Axelar Core with $13.2M and $12.2M, respectively, while Akash Network and Secret Network saw transfers of $4.9M and $4.2M.

Highlights of upcoming and existing airdrops across the Cosmos ecosystem and beyond!
