  • Chain Abstraction Coalition: First Co-Testnet Is Now Live on Particle Pioneer
    The Chain Abstraction Coalition, featuring networks like Arbitrum, Berachain, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Linea, and Botanix, has launched its first Co-Testnet, highlighting Berachain and Sei. This Co-Testnet demonstrates chain abstraction through Particle Network's Universal Accounts, allowing seamless interaction across blockchains.

    Users can earn rewards by performing cross-chain transactions, with additional points for using Berachain Artio or Sei Testnet. This initiative aims to reduce ecosystem fragmentation and promote a unified Web3 experience, showcasing the benefits of chain abstraction technology.





  • Elys Network Phase 2 Testnet
    Leverage liquidity provisioning allows users to provide liquidity with borrowed funds, amplifying their exposure to the assets within the pool.


    The new feature allows adding leveraged funds to existing positions in a pool without changing leverage, but adding collateral reduces leverage. UI updates forthcoming include liquidation price and actual leverage display. Begin Testnet here





  • Aigisos Incentivized Testnet

    Join the Aigisos Phoenix Incentivized Testnet by getting the ChampApe role on Aigisos Discord, and participate in trading activities on AIDX to earn from a 4 million AIG reward pool.

    Test AIDX's features, including spot and perpetual trading with AI assistance from Finch, and share your successes for additional rewards. All rewards will be sent to your registered wallet at the launch of the Aigisos RollApp blockchain. Full details here




  • Union Public Testnet is Live

    Union’s public testnet is now live, offering users the chance to test modular interoperability by transferring assets between the Union testnet and Ethereum Sepolia.

    Access the testnet, connect your wallet, obtain testnet tokens, and engage with the platform. This marks a crucial step towards Union's vision of a secure, decentralized, ZK-powered interoperability layer for all blockchain ecosystems.

  • Sunrise Testnet

    Sunrise is a specialized Data Availability (DA) layer for Proof of Liquidity (PoL). This incentivized testnet offers our users a unique opportunity to explore and experience the Sunrise app before our mainnet launch.

    Additionally, if you participate in the testnet, you’ll be eligible for Wave 4 of the $RISE airdrop. This incentivized testnet will receive the single largest allocation for the $RISE airdrop, directly rewarding our earliest users. Testnet guide here

What's New in Cosmos, Interchain and IBC

  • Injective Builders House

    The Injective Builder House keynote by CEO Eric Chen highlighted Injective's rapid dApp development tools, shared liquidity network, significant ecosystem growth (411% increase in daily transactions, 36x more on-chain wallets, 285% rise in TypeScript downloads), support for liquid markets of real-world assets, and broad coverage of DeFi, RWAs, NFT Fi, GameFi, trading, and lending.

  • Cosmos Hub Engineering Update

    The Cosmos Hub team coordinated the v17 upgrade, which added ICS 2.0 and patched a security vulnerability in the Liquid Staking Module. They handled a halt post-upgrade, fixed it with v17.2.0, and completed integration and testnet phases for Gaia v18, introducing Permissioned CosmWasm, Skip's feemarket module, and expedited proposals.

    They began integrating Gaia v19, which involves updating to the latest Cosmos SDK and IBC versions. They progressed ICS phases, including signaling and implementing ICS with Inactive Hub Validators, and started discussions on Permissionless ICS. The team also developed the ICS Launchpad for easier consumer chain deployment, advanced Hydro for liquidity provision, and revised Babylon integration for enhanced security using Bitcoin.

  • LayerZero Labs x Initia Labs

    LayerZero and Initia are developing an interoperability standard for Cosmos that enables Cosmos SDK-based chains to connect to LayerZero-enabled chains, allowing for omnichain interoperability. LayerZero, an omnichain interoperability protocol, has facilitated over 135 million messages across 80+ blockchain networks, with 200+ applications using it for messaging.

    This new standard will be in the form of a Cosmos SDK Module, not smart contracts, supporting various VMs or those without any. Initia Labs, behind Initia, is developing a network for interwoven rollups, combining an L1 with application-specific L2s, enabling scalable and sovereign Cosmos SDK-based L2s in multiple VMs.




  • Nomic and Osmosis waive BTC bridging fees in landmark DAO-to-DAO partnership
    Nomic and Osmosis approved a DAO-to-DAO partnership, waiving Bitcoin bridging fees for transactions on Osmosis to enhance Bitcoin liquidity. In return, Nomic receives a portion of taker fees from trading nBTC and its derivatives. The agreement, supported by Sunny Aggarwal, aims to maximize BTC trading volume on Osmosis and could serve as a model for future DAO collaborations.

    Nomic’s nBTC, a Bitcoin-backed asset, is live on Osmosis, with controlled growth measures and fee structures in place. The partnership includes mechanisms to prevent Osmosis from becoming a routing chain, ensuring Nomic remains the primary hub for BTC transactions across the Cosmos Ecosystem.



  • Akash at EthCC

    The Akash core team and community concluded a productive week at EthCC, showcasing the strength of the Akash brand in the DePIN and decentralized AI space.

    Highlights include representation at 23 events, over 1,100 registrations for the "rAIsing the bar" event, and 14 speaking engagements by Greg Osuri.




  • Osmosis DEX on Archway

    Cross-chain swaps powered by Nomos are now live on Archway, enabling one-click liquidity access across the interchain and simplifying the process.

    The new Archway-native, one-click Osmosis Swap is now available, offering exclusive early access to Nomos OG NFT holders and those who have signed up. Access the demo at https://ica-swap-app-testnet.vercel.app and experience seamless swaps.


  • Sei Ecosystem Update

    Sei v2 is now live and available for everyone. Dragon Swap reached 2 million in trading volume within 24 hours. Sei distributed the community airdrop, and Definitely launched on Sei v2. Crossover released a behind-the-scenes look at the Sei airdrop.

    Yei deployed over 800K $SEI this week. MRKT launched the buyer-paid royalty model, and Particle Network integrated with Sei v2. Tailwind is now live on Jellyverse, and Seiyandotfun is now live on Sei v2. Additionally, a new Telegram group chat was created for house and tech fans.


  • DeCC Alliance and Secret’s involvement in it
    20+ Blockchain Projects Form DeCC Alliance to Promote Data Protection and Confidential Computing. The alliance intends to educate the public about Decentralized Confidential Computing (DeCC), a growing category within Web3 technology.

    This initiative differentiates projects broadly classified as “privacy coins” or “privacy chains” from those enabling decentralized computations, such as smart contracts or off-chain AI workers, without exposing user data. he coalition includes a wide array of members such as Acurast, Aleo, Arcium Automata, Fairblock, Fhenix, iExec, Inco, Integritee, Intmax, Marlin, Mind Network, Oasis, Partisia, Phala, Secret Network, Swisstronik, TEN, Ternoa, and Zama.
