What's New in Cosmos, Interchain and IBC
  • Injective's November Update: AI Focus, Summit Recap, and Ecosystem Growth
Injective celebrated its third year of mainnet operation with significant achievements, including the launch of INJ 3.0, institutional adoption through AINJ, a strong presence in Asia through crypto events and the first Builder House during ETHCC.

The month was marked by the introduction of iAgent, a groundbreaking AI-enabled finance ecosystem that allows users to create on-chain AI agents for executing blockchain tasks. iAgent leverages large language models like OpenAI's ChatGPT to simplify complex blockchain interactions, offering real-time data analysis, predictive analytics, and automated trade execution.

Injective's integration with Fetch.ai further bridges AI and blockchain, enabling users to access $FET tokens and advanced AI capabilities, while allowing ASI Alliance users to deploy their tokens across Injective's DeFi applications. Injective launched the Meme Bridge, enabling seamless bridging of meme tokens between Solana and Injective blockchains, with support for multiple tokens and a secure cross-chain transfer process.

  • Passage Reduces Cloud Costs by 50% with Akash's Decentralized Cloud Infrastructure
Passage has significantly reduced its cloud computing costs by leveraging the Akash Supercloud and its open-source compute marketplace. By tapping into Akash's GPU marketplace, Passage has achieved an average price reduction of 50% and up to 70% compared to traditional GPU providers, enabling them to offer immersive virtual experiences accessible from any browser on any device.

Passage's migration to Akash involved transferring existing workloads and implementing automated scaling, resulting in a fully operational virtual world rendered entirely on GPUs accessed through Akash, delivering improved performance at a fraction of the cost.

  • Dymension 3D introduces new opportunities for users, founders, and operators to earn on the platform

Dymension 3D, introduces a new platform and experience for users, founders (creators), and operators, each with opportunities to earn on the platform. Founders can launch tokens and L2s, giving them rights to onchain revenues such as endorsements and royalties, with 50% of swap fees going to creators as royalties.

Additionally, DYM stakers can endorse a RollApp and automatically stream incentives directly to the founder or the RollApp. Operators can earn rewards by running RollApp infra, with each RollApp setting the percentage of newly minted tokens going to operators, creating a marketplace of L2s to choose from. Operators can also facilitate fast withdrawals from RollApps to Dymension using a specialized easy-to-use bot ('eIBC client'), earning a share of the withdrawal fees in return.

  • SEDA announces the availability of millions of Real World Asset (RWA) feeds on the Plume network
SEDA has announced that millions of RWA feeds are now live on the Plume network. This means that builders on Plume can now access SEDA's programmable oracle infrastructure to build app-specific feeds for any data type, from day one.

With SEDA, builders can deploy feeds in seconds instead of months, and build any type of RWA app with limitless data access. This can greatly accelerate the development of RWA applications and services.

  • ID Crypt Global, ADEX, and cheqd Partner to Enhance Trust and Security in DeFi
ID Crypt Global has partnered with cheqd to integrate cutting-edge identity and security solutions into Apex Digital Exchange (ADEX), a prominent player in the decentralized finance (DeFi) space.

This collaboration addresses two critical challenges in the cryptocurrency and DeFi markets: user trust and identity verification. By integrating cheqd's decentralized identity infrastructure with ID Crypt Global's KYC, AML, and compliance solutions, ADEX users can securely verify their identities while maintaining control over their data.

  • Namada Dry Run Completion and Preparations for Mainnet Launch

Key achievements included a decentralized chain launch within 3 minutes, 181 out of 205 pre-genesis validators active within 25 minutes, and swift community support for governance phases enabling PoS, PGF inflation, mainnet OSMO over IBC, shielded rewards, and native token transfers.

The Namadillo front-end was improved based on community feedback, Ledger hardware usage was tested, and a software upgrade and hard-fork were successfully orchestrated despite time constraints. The dry-run also involved testing the connection of mainnet Noble USDC over IBC and receiving strong community support for infrastructure such as IBC relayers, block explorers, and public RPCs.
