What's New in Cosmos, Interchain and IBC

  • Fetch and Injective Set to Power AI-Enabled Finance on Injective
    The Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) Alliance, comprising Fetch.ai, SingularityNet, and Ocean Protocol, has integrated with Injective, a leading decentralized finance (DeFi) platform.



    This collaboration enables Injective users to access ASI's AI technologies and the $FET token, while ASI users can now utilize Injective's DeFi applications. The integration aims to advance the intersection of AI and decentralized finance, creating new opportunities for developers and users across both ecosystems.

  • Injective at 3
    Injective celebrated its 3rd year of mainnet operations in 2024. Over the past year, Injective introduced significant upgrades, including INJ 3.0, expanded its institutional adoption, and actively engaged with the Asian crypto market.



    The ecosystem also saw the growth of memecoins and further advancements in real-world asset integrations. Injective continues to push the boundaries of decentralized finance, with plans for continued innovation and expansion in the coming year.

  • Millions of feeds, any data → live on Arbitrum and Sei
    SEDA is empowering builders on the Arbitrum and Sei Networks to deploy custom oracle feeds for any use case. This allows developers to quickly create application-specific oracles, providing unrestricted data access to build a wide variety of apps.



    Key benefits include the ability to customize oracle feeds, deploy new feeds rapidly, and build applications with tailored data sources. SEDA simplifies the process of integrating oracles, enabling builders to focus on their core products and innovations.

  • Sentinel Scout AI Data layer integrates with Akash Chat API
    The Sentinel Scout AI Data layer integrates with the Akash Chat API to help users find relevant URLs for data retrieval. Users can provide a topic, and Akash Chat will recommend a list of URLs in the required format.



    Sentinel's AI data miners will then retrieve the requested data. The Sentinel Scout web app allows users to easily submit multiple URLs at once, providing a seamless flow from intelligent URL recommendation to data retrieval.

  • Torlympics has integrated with Axelar
    Torlympics has integrated with Axelar, a Web3 interoperability platform that connects blockchains. This collaboration will unlock cross-chain swap functionality for the TON Blockchain, enhancing interoperability and expanding the Torlympics ecosystem.



    Axelar's platform enables developers to deploy across chains quickly, with customizable security and latency, providing an open stack for building and connecting on a secure, scalable blockchain. This integration is just the beginning of the collaboration between Torlympics and Axelar, with more exciting developments to come.

  • Sei Less Do More
    The Sei network has seen significant progress in its ecosystem, including new integrations, community achievements, and gaming updates. Highlights include the platform's EVM growing by 34% to 1.7 million unique addresses.



    Sei ranking top 5 in social score for Layer 1s, and the arrival of new projects and applications across DeFi, wallets, and gaming. The ecosystem is rapidly expanding, with the community and builders contributing to Sei's continued growth and momentum.

  • BonusBlock <> Axelar Campaign
    Axelar has launched the Axelar Explorers Program, offering a 100,000 AXL prize pool over 3 months for participants who complete partnerships with 7 different dApps.



    The first partner announced is Frax Finance. By completing each season of the program, users can earn AXL rewards. This initiative aims to foster engagement and awareness within the Axelar ecosystem.

  • Meme Coin-Focused Trading and Interval Trading | Injective Bounty
    The Injective Foundation is seeking proposals to develop a user-friendly application that combines meme coin trading with interval trading features. The key objectives are to simplify the trading experience, boost user engagement through a rewards system, and ensure market integrity with robust risk management.



    The application must comply with all applicable laws, support multiple tokens, integrate liquidity vaults, and utilize an oracle system for reliable price feeds. The proposals will be evaluated based on innovation, feasibility, security, and community impact.

  • Sunrise Test 2
    Sunrise, a Layer 1 blockchain, has launched its v2 testnet, introducing a new mascot, Haru, a Shima Enaga from Japan. Users can customize and level up their Haru, earning Haru Yen to unlock items.



    The v2 testnet is incentivized, with users earning RISE token airdrops based on their Haru's final level. The update represents a significant overhaul to Sunrise's architecture, making the platform more scalable. This testnet is a checkpoint towards Sunrise's mainnet launch, which is expected to happen soon after.

  • Civitia Testnet v2
    Civitia, a finance-focused board game, has launched its v2 testnet. Players can now mint cities, collect yield, and compete in seasonal gameplay. Civitia is built on a modular, interwoven rollup architecture powered by Initia Foundation, with Celestia providing the underlying infrastructure.



    This unique setup enables Civitia to provide an on-chain gaming experience. Users are encouraged to try the testnet and prepare for the upcoming mainnet launch. 

A Universe of Airdrops

The cosmos is alive with airdrop excitement.

  • The $ATONE airdrop has been distributed to eligible $ATOM holders, with the allocation based on their Cosmos Hub Prop 848 voting behavior, and users can now view their $ATONE balance and stake it.

  • Defund is offering an airdrop for $TIA stakers, Osmosis liquidity providers, Defund testnet participants, and Sui Network users, with additional eligibility criteria to be announced.

  • The Mantra mainnet is now live, but the $OM airdrop has not been released yet, with additional missions required before the airdrop is distributed, and the airdrop itself subject to a 3-month cliff and 9-month vesting period.

  • The $DGN airdrop criteria include staking $DGN, holding specific NFTs, staking $ATOM, and purchasing $DGN during StreamSwap, with different multipliers based on the staking and NFT tiers.

  • The Elys network mainnet launch roadmap is close, with the public launch of perpetual, a new bonus block quest, and the conclusion of the incentivized testnet as the next stage of development.

Over the last 7 days, IBC value transfers peaked at $26.6 million on Osmosiszone, followed by $13.2 million on Cosmoshub, $12.2 million on Axelarcore, $4.9 million on Akashnet, and $4.2 million on SecretNetwork.
