What's New in Cosmos, Interchain and IBC

  • Sei Less, Do more
    Sei has announced the launch of its new free-to-play game "Final Glory" on the MetaArena gaming platform. The game has already attracted over 100,000 users in just two months since its launch, demonstrating strong user engagement on the Sei ecosystem.



    Additionally, Sei has welcomed FalconX, a leading digital asset prime brokerage, as the newest member of the Sei Liquidity Alliance. FalconX provides deep liquidity, market-making services, and end-to-end support for projects on the Sei, including assistance with tokenomics, exchange listings, and treasury management.

  • Emurgo integrates with Axelar
    EMURGO, Cardano ecosystem founding entity, is integrating the Axelar’s interoperability with the Cardano blockchain.



    This collaboration will enable Cardano developers and users to connect with other blockchain ecosystems, potentially providing benefits like bridging stablecoins to Cardano, linking ADA to DeFi applications on other chains, onboarding users and liquidity, and raising awareness of blockchain interoperability through joint campaigns.

  • Injective’s Revenue-to-FDV
    The revenue-to-FDV ratio shows how efficiently blockchains generate revenue compared to their market cap. A higher ratio can indicate strong network usage, growth, and a sound token economy.



    Injective's ratio is high compared to other major chains, which may suggest that its protocol design and revenue generation mechanisms contribute to its performance.

  • Initial RollApp Offerings: From Token to Ecosystem
    Dymension is introducing a new feature called Initial RollApp Offerings (IRO) as part of its 3D upgrade. IROs allow anyone to create and trade RollApp tokens before the RollApp officially launches, with the funds used to seed liquidity when the RollApp goes live.



    IRO tokens act as RollApp token futures that can be exchanged 1:1 for the native RollApp tokens. This provides creators a way to build an initial user base, form an aligned community, and establish liquidity for their RollApp, all before launch.

  • SEDA Live On Berachain
    SEDA has launched on the Bera blockchain, providing Bera builders with streamlined access to a wide range of data feeds. Developers can now customize app-specific oracle feeds, deploy new feeds rapidly, and build any application type with unrestricted data access.



    This enables builders to ship their oracle programs more efficiently, leveraging the capabilities provided by the SEDA and Bera integration.   • Aori and Initia are partnering to build an interwoven liquidity layer
    Aori and Initia are partnering to build an interwoven liquidity layer that will bring high-frequency intent execution to the Interwoven Stack. This integration will enable atomic settlements, liquidity aggregation, and more efficient markets across thousands of appchains.



    The key features include fast off-chain matching with atomic on-chain settlement, MEV protection, and a trustless execution layer with an open network of searchers, solvers, and market makers. This collaboration aims to provide users with optimal trade execution and fluid cross-chain liquidity, while giving appchain developers access to a powerful off-chain execution infrastructure.

  • Sei <> Jumper
    Jumper, in collaboration with Sei Network, is launching "Super Seiyan Week," a three-week DeFi initiative offering 1.1 million $SEI in incentives. Following their successful SuperFest event, this program aims to reward users for completing missions on their Jumper profile.


    Participants can earn yields by engaging with partner protocols including DragonSwap, Jlyvrs, Silo, Yei Finance, and Filament Finance. Each completed mission also grants 3 XP points. This initiative combines yield farming opportunities with gamification elements, encouraging users to explore various DeFi protocols within the Sei ecosystem.

  • BonusBlock <> Axelar Campaign
    Axelar has launched the Axelar Explorers Program, offering a 100,000 AXL prize pool over 3 months for participants who complete partnerships with 7 different dApps.



    The first partner announced is Frax Finance. By completing each season of the program, users can earn AXL rewards. This initiative aims to foster engagement and awareness within the Axelar ecosystem.

  • Cosmoshub in September
    The Cosmos Hub saw significant progress in September, with the release of Gaia v20 and ICS v6.1.0. These updates introduced features like permissionless ICS, support for inactive validators, and simplified delegation processes. The next release, Gaia v21, aims to further enhance the ecosystem with improved ICS rewards and an even more streamlined process for launching consumer chains.



    Additionally, the Forge and Hydro products are making advancements, strengthening liquidity management and development tools for the Cosmos network. These developments solidify the Cosmos Hub's position as a leading platform for launching and managing blockchain projects.

  • Helix G-Wagon Trading Competition - Meme Contest
    Helix is running a meme contest for their G-Wagon Trading Competition with a $1,000 prize.

A Galaxy of Opportunities

  • Creator Fund Parallel Rounds 3 & 4
    Sei Foundation has launched Rounds 3 and 4 of its $10 million Creator Fund, offering $500K in total funding. Round 3 allocates $250K for developer ecosystem projects, including educational content, developer tools, smart contract development, and community support resources. Round 4 provides $250K for Web3 gaming content creators, focusing on content series, gaming campaigns, and community collaborations.



    The Sei GG: The Legendary Gauntlet gaming competition runs alongside Round 4, offering $50K in prizes. Applications are managed through separate Gitcoin platforms for each round, utilizing a quadratic funding model. An Application Committee will review projects before community voting begins. The Sei Community Grants Telegram Group offers support channels for pitch scheduling and collaboration requests. Applications close on October 3rd at 12 PM EST, with a 3,000 $SEI referral bonus for top 10 placements.






  • Sei Foundation Launches $50 Million Japan Ecosystem Fund to boost Gaming, Social, and Entertainment Sectors


    The Sei Foundation launched the $50M Japan Ecosystem Fund to support early-stage and scaling startups in Web3 gaming, social, and entertainment on Sei Network.

    Announced at "Sei Web3 Day for Japan" in Tokyo, the fund aims to enhance Japan’s crypto space and remains open to innovative blockchain projects beyond these sectors. Apply here

  • You can check your $DGN airdrop allocation by adding Dungeonchain to Keplr Wallet. The Snapshot for the first $DGN airdrop was on July 21, 2024, including 250k wallets with a minimum of 50 $ATOM staked.

  • 3D Playground testnet is live!
    Dymension has launched the 3D Playground, a significant upgrade aimed at creating an Internet of RollApps. This testnet will unfold in three phases, with Phase 1 focusing on deploying RollApps as easily as tokens. Access to the Playground is currently limited to community members who stake 5 DYM on mainnet.



    The upgrade introduces a new method for deploying permissionless RollApps, designed to be seamless and fast. RollApp creators can be non-technical, with an operator’s market available for those seeking assistance.
