What's New in Cosmos, Interchain and IBC
  • Build with the Akash Chat API
Akash Network has launched its Chat API, granting public access to Llama 3.1 technology powered by the Akash Supercloud. This API is designed to be open and permissionless, allowing anyone to create an API key and start building applications.

A standout feature of the Akash Chat API is its zero-cost access, removing financial barriers for developers and innovators. Users can immediately begin creating with the API by visiting the provided link to generate their API key. This launch represents a significant step in democratizing access to advanced language models and cloud computing resources.

  • Axelar integration is now LIVE on SYNTHR!
SYNTHR offers cross-chain infrastructure with zero-slippage omnichain liquidity, utilizing a GMP aggregator and an oracle aggregator. The protocol enables creation of omnichain applications and efficient cross-chain value transfer. It features AI-powered delta neutrality and high capital efficiency.

Users can earn real yield by providing liquidity, minting omnichain syASSETS with a 150% minimum c-ratio. The architecture uses a light chain-main chain model and an omnichain global debt pool.

  • Sei Ecosystem Surges
The Sei ecosystem has experienced substantial growth, reaching new records in daily active users and Total Value Locked (TVL). The network launched the Sei Creator Fund Rounds 3 & 4, offering $500K to support developers and gaming creators. Sei GG introduced a gaming competition with $50K in prizes.

OKX Web3 doubled rewards for Sei DeFi Season to 106,400 SEI daily. New deployments include Filament Finance's Beta for perpetual trading, Nucleus's Super Seiyan ETH, and Dinero's seiyanETH. The ecosystem welcomed games like Shadow Mysteries and Catton. OnlyPerps launched spot and perpetual trading on Sei. Existing projects reported significant milestones: Jumper Exchange saw $5M+ inflows in its first week, Cat vs Monsters reached 200,000 active players, Greedy Goblin hit 1 million on-chain transactions, and DragonSwap surpassed $20M TVL.

  • Active Ninjas
Injective's inclusion in the top 10 blockchains by daily active addresses growth signifies ninjas are always active and have actively been onboarded. Ranking third in this metric, Injective has experienced a notable increase in user engagement over the past year.

This growth trend suggests expanding adoption of Injective-based applications and increased interest in the blockchain's capabilities. Factors potentially driving this surge include Injective's unique features, new protocol developments, or emerging use cases. The rise in daily active addresses serves as a tangible indicator of Injective's expanding user base and could point to future growth potential.

  • cheqd has joined the Global Acceptance Network
cheqd has joined the Global Acceptance Network (GAN) as a founding member. GAN aims to build a decentralized digital ecosystem to address issues like fraud, phishing, and privacy breaches. It focuses on creating a universal framework for verifiable data exchange across ecosystems.

For cheqd, this aligns with its mission of promoting interoperable digital trust and decentralized identity solutions. GAN’s members include companies like Accenture, Fireblocks, Pearson, and nonprofit groups such as GLEIF. This initiative aims to benefit industries like healthcare, finance, and travel through secure data exchange. Learn more at the GAN website.

  • Secret Network’s Confidential Computing Layer is now integrated with ZKsync
Secret Network has integrated its Confidential Computing Layer with ZKsync Era, a Layer 2 ZK rollup on Ethereum. This integration brings decentralized confidential computing (DeCC) capabilities to ZKsync Era applications.

DeCC enables features like private voting, encrypted storage, and confidential data linked to NFTs. ZKsync Era offers EVM-compatible smart contracts, high throughput, and low fees while inheriting Ethereum's security. Developers can now build applications using Secret's DeCC tools and ZKsync Era's infrastructure, potentially unlocking new use cases in DeFi, gaming, and DAOs.

  • Coinhall has been acquired by Jupiter Exchange
Jupiter Exchange, a leading DEX aggregator and Perp DEX on Solana, has acquired Coinhall, a pro-trading terminal platform. This merger combines Jupiter's trading expertise with Coinhall's real-time infrastructure and cross-chain capabilities.

Coinhall.org will continue operations under Jupiter, focusing on Cosmos and upcoming EVM ecosystems. The previously planned $HALL token and Hallchain have been discontinued. Jupiter will integrate Coinhall's 225,000 trader community, with plans to convert Hallswap users to Jupiter. The first product from this collaboration is ape.pro, a Solana meme trading hub featuring 1-click logins, MPC-based AA wallets, real-time data streaming, and enhanced transaction execution through Jito fees and MEV protection.
